Since the release of their second album in December 2016, the Schola Cantorum of St. John XXIII Parish has reached audiences around the world, earning over 600 streams and digital downloads from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Sweden, the Netherlands, Portugal, Argentina, Singapore, New Zealand, and many more!
A majority of those digital streams are distributed through Spotify, while iTunes Match, YouTube, and Amazon Prime also show strong support. Taking advantage of these digital resources has proven very effective for promoting the Latin Mass in Pittsburgh, as well as the beauty of sacred polyphony and Gregorian chant throughout the world. In addition, the schola was delighted to reach across the sea to share a copy of the CD with Christoph Dalitz, German composer of the “Regina Cæli” from the album (be sure to check back soon for more of those details).
The schola will be selling their remaining CDs through this Lent and Easter season at St. Boniface Church, while supplies last. To hear selections from both albums, please visit the schola’s YouTube channel. You can also purchase the album digitally or physically from Amazon, and stream or download from Spotify, iTunes, or anywhere digital music is distributed!
