Grandpa and Shorty is closing out its year-long film festival run with one more victory to punctuate a wonderfully successful season. This past spring, the film was highlighted as Best Narrative Feature in the El Paso Media Fest, marking the 9th entry in White Ball Productions’ list of accolades for this project. This first post-production phase of marketing and distribution has focused on garnering attention and critical reviews from film festivals across the United States, and this film’s reception over that 12-month period has been most encouraging for the team.
From March 2024 through March 2025, Grandpa and Shorty was honored with the following recognitions and awards:

Having earned these distinctions among film industry peers, the next phase of marketing for the film turns to the official trailer, which is slated for delivery by this fall. Armed with a compelling trailer and this list of critical accomplishments, White Ball Productions will be well positioned to approach distributors and exhibitors for mass distribution and streaming on mainstream digital platforms across the globe!
