Christum Natum Adoremus - cd artwork
The Schola Cantorum of St. John XXIII Parish, directed by John Rokosz, has proudly released their new CD, “Christum Natum Adoremus.” The 14-track album showcases the favorite musical pieces from their fall semester of 2014, with a spotlight on the Advent and Christmas season. Gregorian Chant, Renaissance polyphony, and other choral works provide a beautifully reverent soundscape for any lover of sacred music.

The schola recorded this album with the diligent help of Dave Hidek from Treelady Studios, at St. Paul of the Cross Monastery, on the Southside Slopes of Pittsburgh. It is the first official recording for the schola, and is available digitally on iTunes, and physically on Amazon.com. With these Internet tools, the schola is eager to promote this music and the Traditional Latin Mass throughout the Diocese of Pittsburgh, and across the world!
